The top of the VU-B series is designed for grinding fresh meat and meat products, as well as frozen meat up to -18 °C. In addition to the above, they are able to grind whole frozen (up to -18 °C) meat blocks

  • The equipment is made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, which meets the hygienic and sanitary-epidemiological requirements for food production. The outer surface of the metal is subjected to additional cold abrasive treatment; 
  • The augers are made of solid stainless steel, high rotation accuracy; 
  • The drive elements are in a closed machine body, which gives optimal protection from contamination. Degree of protection of sensors and electronic components – IP 69; 
  • The drive of the feeding screw is carried out from electric motors equipped with frequency converters;
  • The drive of the working screw, depending on the modification, is carried out from a single/ two-speed electric motor (can be equipped with a frequency converter), an electrical control system – built-in electrical cabinet;
  • The adjustable speed of the working screw allows you to optimize the work of the spinning top for a specific type of raw material; 
  • Automatic overload protection – the feed screw does not load the worker by more than 80%;

  • The raw meat loaded into the receiving hopper is transported by a feeding auger to the working auger and then, with the help of a working auger, it is forced through a system of fixed grids and rotating knives; 
  • The desired degree of grinding is obtained by installing gratings with the appropriate hole diameter. The crushed raw materials are unloaded into a processing trolley
  • The cutting tool consists of: a receiving grate, grates with a hole diameter of 5, 8, 13 and 19 mm (in the case of VU-B), two cross-shaped knives for fresh meat, two cross-shaped knives with a remote ring for frozen meat, a crosspiece;
  • To facilitate the installation of the feed screw in the working position, the top is equipped with a lifting device installed on board the loading funnel of the top;
  • To facilitate the washing of the top, the neck of the working screw is made reclining. In the working position, the neck is fastened with a clamp;
  • A protective casing equipped with an electromagnetic lock that prevents the opening of the casing when the top is running; 
  • The top hopper is equipped with a mirror for the convenience of visual inspection of the product by the operator;
  • For storage and transportation of working and feeding screws and cutting tools, the top is equipped with special trolleys

  • The cylinder of the working screw consists of a housing and a sleeve and has a spiral-shaped thread on the inner surface;

  • To push out the working screw, a hydraulic ejector is provided, which includes a one-way hydraulic cylinder with a spring return, built into the drive shaft of the working screw, a rotary joint, a high-pressure hose, a hydroelectric station;
  • The feeding screw is fixed by a hinged lid, which, when closed, comes into contact with the limit switch that allows the rotation of the screws. The rotation of the screws is blocked when the lid is opened. To facilitate installation, the lid is equipped with an eccentric handle;
  • The footrest interacts with the limit switch, which does not allow the spinning top to start up when the footrest is folded back
